My name is Coach Jake, and I am originally from West Sussex in the south of England, surrounded by both the seaside and the countryside. From a very young age, sport was a huge part of my life, days, evenings, and most weekends were spent playing or training. From individual sports to team games, I was completely immersed, and that passion has stayed with me ever since.

I have been teaching Physical Education for the past eight years, during which time I have developed a real passion for athletics. As the traditional summer sport in UK schools, athletics became a highlight of the year, allowing students to challenge themselves, develop technical skills, and build confidence across a wide range of disciplines.

This year, I am excited to be joining Abu Dhabi Athletics Academy. As a coach, I aim to create a positive, supportive, and engaging environment where athletes feel motivated to improve, enjoy their training, and build strong foundations not just in sport, but in confidence, discipline, and teamwork.
