Hi I’m Katy, I joined Athletics Academy as a coach in 2025.

Originally from Ireland, my husband and I moved to Abu Dhabi in 2020 and now consider here home.

I joined an athletics club when I was 4 and competed in track and field my whole life. I was an 800m athlete and competed both nationally and internationally during my teenage and young adult years.

Athletics has brought so much to my life; confidence, the ability to work hard, resilience, determination and most importantly all of my closest friends were made through this amazing sport.

I became an athletics coach back in Ireland in 2013 and have loved coaching athletes of all ages and abilities since then!

I have a deep love for athletics and a passion for sharing it with the next generation in hopes it’ll bring the same amazing things it has brought to my life!
